This amp has certainly seen some action. Most of it seems to have been re-covered at some stage and fitted with an AC40 name plate. As you can see from the pictures, the amp had a service and an evaluation by Stephen Grosvenor in 2017. In the document he outlines the changes and modifications made including repairs to the case. Please read, pics are in the listing.

The amp comes with a flightcase stenciled with Geoff Banks’ name. Geoff was guitar tech to the great and the good, from Genesis to Brian May, AC/DC and much more. The Genesis name can be seen on the case in certain lights and looks to be from the 'A Trick of the Tail' era.

The amp sounds fantastic with plenty of that classic Vox midrange and chime. Lower wattage means that driven tones are much more achievable at  reasonable volume.

A great piece of kit with an interesting story. Only one we have seen for some time and priced well, to sell...
