2013 Fender CS Ltd Edition Rosewood Telecaster + OHSC

Description

Stunning 2013 Fender Custom Shop Rosewood Telecaster in transparent satin urethane closet classic finish that shows off the wonderful grain to the Rosewood. As part of the 2013 Limited Edition Collection it comes with a Limited Edition decal, Certificate case and Neck plate.

As a recreation of one of the most rarest guitars in Fender history it has a full feature set including a Rosewood body, Rosewood neck with early-’60s “oval C”-shaped profile and no skunk stripe or plug. A Rosewood fingerboard with 9.5” radius and 6105 frets. Hardware is all vintage inspired and electrics comprise of the popular Twisted Tele with the post ’67 modern wiring scheme.

The guitar has been very well looked after with only the lightest of marks evident and the brightwork still shining. Weighing in at a staggering 7.9lbs (Rosewood Telecasters routinely hit 9/10lbs+) it is lively both acoustically and amplified with the 9.5” fingerboard radius and 6105 frets allowing for an easy playing, choke free set up.

In the pickups you have what is possibly the most popular Telecaster set Fender offer in the Twisted Tele with their relatively hot, high-output Telecaster guitar tone with a dash of sparkling Stratocaster character. Tailored to its position (neck and bridge) to achieve its individual sonic character.

The neck pickup's taller bobbin is designed to accommodate more windings, combined with a slightly shorter bridge pickup bobbin for dark full-bodied midrange. The neck feels great with the Satin urethane finish giving an approximation of a smooth, played in nitro neck. The slim C profile has a 1st fret depth of 21.68mm and 23.92mm at the 12th and a nut width of 42,29mm.

The guitar is in excellent condition throughout and comes with its Black Custom Shop case, Certificate and assorted pictured case accoutrements.
