1967 Gibson ES-345, Sunburst

Description

Cool player grade 60s ES-345 with no breaks, repairs or finish issues. A characterful example that looks stunning in it's vibrant sunburst finish.
There are a few well executed changes that make this guitar perfect for someone looking for vintage looks and feel with modern playability. It's fitted with a later Nickel B7 Bigsby and Pearl-dowelled holes from a previously installed stop tailpiece are visible. It has a set of aged Kluson Supreme tuners fitted that offer a slower gearing for better tuning accuracy, it's been refretted, has a changed nut, and the original loom has been replaced and a set of Monty's PAF's installed. Fortunately the original Pat No humbuckers are retained in the case and are in working order, along with 3 original pots, input jack, protective cans and capacitors.
The neck has a fantastic chunky profile which comfortably carries the slimmer nut width of the period. The refret is very good and the guitar plays effortlessly all the way up the neck. Tonally it has a lot of options and offers exceptional versatility in the studio or live. It's currently running in stereo which gives the option of running into two amps simultaneously - if you haven't heard this setup before we highly recommend you try it!
Altogether, this is a true player’s 345, and a very good opportunity to acquire a 60s Gibson Semi that plays like a dream, looks excellent, sounds fantastic... all for close to Murphy Lab money. I know what I'd choose!
Comes with a non-original hard case.
