This limited edition of just 200 guitars worldwide pays tribute to Noel’s most cherished instrument—and one of the most recognisable ES-355s in modern British rock.

Noel Gallagher’s affiliation with Gibson’s ES guitars dates right back to the early days of Oasis. But in 1997, at the height of their global success, he acquired what would become his most iconic: a 1960 ES-355, originally deemed “too nice” to take on the road. That changed in the early 2000s, when it finally made it to the stage—and it’s remained a constant companion ever since. Whether in the studio or on arena stages, it’s a guitar that’s earned its place at the heart of Noel’s sound.

This Custom Shop recreation is incredibly faithful. The Murphy lab have done a superb job, and on first galnce this looks as close to the read deal as we've seen! Typical 355 spec includes a multi-ply bound maple/poplar body, mahogany neck, and ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl block inlays, Varitone and Bigsby B7 vibrato tailpiece, just like Noel's original, delivering everything from warm, throaty semi-hollow tones to sparkling, phasey cleans with signature ES-355 versatility.

Finished in Murphy Lab Aged 60s Cherry, the lacquer checking, subtle edge wear, and gentle fading give the guitar the appearance of a well-loved vintage instrument. Under the hood, a pair of Custombuckers provide an articulate, rich tone loaded with harmonic complexity.

Each guitar includes a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity, a reproduction handwritten lyric sheet, a custom Bear strap like the one Noel uses on stage, and comes housed in a brown and pink Gibson Lifton-style hardshell case.
