Limited-edition Epiphone “Treasure” Firebird I, designed in collaboration with Joe Bonamassa, finished in classic Tobacco Sunburst and presented in excellent, all-original condition. Part of a limited production run of just 500 worldwide, making it a rare opportunity to own Bonamassa’s iconic single‑pickup Firebird style.

Built to Joe’s exacting standards, this Firebird I features a thru‑neck body crafted from mahogany with a 9-piece laminated mahogany/walnut neck with a fairly chunky rounded C profile with a dot inlayed rosewood fingerboard. Hardware consists of Kluson banjo tuners and a Lightning wrap tailpiece, and for the electrics we have a minimalist control setup (master volume and tone) and a single custom-wound ProBucker FB720 humbucker which offers excellent clarity with that Firebird mid range bite!

Released in 2016, the “Treasure” Firebird I was created in partnership with Joe Bonamassa to celebrate the legendary 1963 Firebird he treasured—and still plays. Epiphone’s luthiers in Nashville guided him in recreating that guitar’s tone, feel, and aesthetic, and as Joe himself said, “We A/B’d the new Epiphone with my two original ’63s. The Epi’s play and sound better!”
