2015 Gibson CS9 '50s Style Les Paul Standard VOS in MINT condition anyone?

In the days prior to the True Historic phase, these guitars were Gibson’s latest take on the true ‘burst’ reproduction. More accurate body and neck carve, Alnico III Custombuckers and VOS finishes, this is yet another piece of the puzzle.

This guitar is stunning. It looked to have hardly been played. The exquisite top has a wonderful three dimensional, multifaceted quality and married to an impressive single piece mahogany body, makes quite the package. The Sunrise Tea Burst evokes those lightly faded tops we so like, setting off the flamed maple top.

As with the body, the single piece neck shows no signs of use. The grain is wonderfully showcased here. The Madagascan rosewood fretboard is in great shape as are the frets. The headstock has not a single mark.

The hardware is bright, clean with no signs of tarnishing.

Electrically everything is correct and untouched, as you would expect of course.

The guitar comes with its Gibson Custom Shop hard-shell case.

It's a joy to play with a sublime ‘59 profile neck and the Custombucker pickups delivering those wonderful PAF-like tones.

Looks and tone to die for, what more could you want? Find another this clean
