Dark Cherry Sunburst PRS Custom 22 from 2002 in superb condition with a stunning Artist Grade quilted Maple top with gold hardware and signed by Paul Reed Smith at a PRS Experience Day. Introduced in 1993 to complement the Custom 24, the Custom 22, as the name suggests has a 22 fret neck allowing the neck pickup to be mounted further away from the bridge to yield a warmer, more vintage tone.

Featuring a Mahogany body with stunning Artist Grade Quilted Maple top, a Mahogany neck with an East Indian Rosewood fingerboard. The fingerboard is inlayed with Paua birds. The neck carve is the popular PRS Pattern thin (wide/thin) profile. The guitar comes with a pair of PRS Dragon II pickups with gold covers. The Dragon II pickups are balanced with a DC reading of 7.62 in the neck and 12.65 in the bridge with Alnico 4 Magnets. Voiced to sit between the Vintage style McCarty pickup and the more contemporary sounding HFS. Pickups are controlled by the five way rotary switch. Hardware comprises a Gold PRS Tremolo with PRS Phase 1 locking tuners with Ebony buttons.

The guitar is in faultless condition throughout, the finish is superb with very little signs that the guitar has had much playtime at all. The guitar comes safety housed in its Original PRS Case. A stunning example.
