This guitar is in as new condition with hardly a mark on the body. The sunburst finish is unfaded and in excellent condition. The real standout is the figured maple top and back giving the guitar that classic high end archtop look.

The neck too is hardly played with both frets and fretboard in excellent condition.

The hardware shows some sign of light wear as you expect with gold plating  but not too extensive.

Plastics are in great shape as you’d expect.

Electrically everything is correct and untouched.

There's no doubt this is an excellent instrument, built to Gibson’s high standard, the 490R humbucker providing a well rounded tone. The ES-175 dimensions mean this guitar isn’t too big and the 24 ¾” scale makes it feel instantly familiar. 

Showing that Gibson still have it, this ES-165 would make the perfect addition to any arsenal.
