1992 Gibson Flying V + OHSC

Description

Are you ready to ROCK?! Youll need one of these then…1992 Gibson Flying V ‘67 reissue in Black.

Returning the V to its roots in 1990, Gibson chose to use the 1967 iteration as its model with its all mahogany construction and triangular control layout, moving away from the experimentation of the 80s.

Condition wise, this guitar is in great shape. The black shows no signs of wear and there are only minor scratches.

The neck is in great shape, the finish is still glossy, the fretboard is unmarked and there is plenty of life left in the original frets.

Hardware shows no signs of wear which suggests very little use.

Plastics are in great shape as you’d expect. Two pickup rings in black have been added to the factory humbuckers. The plastics have been discolored by nicotine and there is a slight crack in the pickguard, by the screw near the neck.

Electrically all  of the solder joints look to have been undisturbed and both Gibson USA pickups are present..

The guitar comes with its correct brown hardshell case with pink lining, the handle is fully intact which is a rare thing, but one latch does not work.

Once you’ve figured out comfortable way to hold the guitar (possible suggestion would be to skip the sitting down and stick it on a strap, one foot up on the monitor) we’re in familiar Gibson territory, especially to those of you who’ve wrangled an SG, albeit with a bit more wood to contend with. Easy access to the whole neck, the Gibson USA  humbuckers delivering a solid rock tone.

If its good enough for James Hetfield then it should for you. You will be noticed with this around your neck. Grab it before it gets away.
