Inspired by Jon Lord’s organ sound on Deep Purple records, Brent K Butler’s Tube Driver circuit has become the go to pedal for artist such as Eric Johnson, David Gilmour and Billy Gibbons. Utilizing a single 12AX7, this circuit has been copied but never surpassed. Having gone through many incarnations through the late 70s, what's considered as the pinnacle is this version licensed by Chandler from Brent, made for a short while between 1984 and 1987.

Cosmetically this pedal is in good condition. One owner from new, this pedal has been used and as such there are wear marks and paint chips. Having said that, the silk screen is still strong and there is no sign of any significant damage.

Internally there has been no sign of any modification or repairs.

If you're reading this then you know what we have here. There’s creamy distortion a plenty here, evoking those modded Fender tones do familiar to fans of Mesa Boogie. It also works as a wonderful clean boost, adding some wonderful tube warmth to your tone.

A classic pedal that’s still held in high regard. Grab this one before it gets away…
