Maybe not first on anyone’s list but these mid-70’s strats shouldn't be overlooked. They vary a bit more than earlier examples but a good one will yield a world of tone that a similarly priced new guitar can only dream of.

The three tone sunburst looks great over the Ash body. There are the expected knicks and bumps but nothing too substantial.

The neck has been refinished and refretted, decal has been replaced. There is some wear to be seen. The fretboard is in good shape. The guitar still has its correct tuners and the fret have plenty of life left in them.

The body's pickup cavities have been deepened slightly and aluminium shielding foil has been added.

The plastics have been changed but hardware is correct aside from the saddles which are repro 'Pat Pend'  type.

Electrically everything has also been changed. PIckups are Abbie Yabbara initialled Custom Shop single coils from 2007 and the harness is from 2015

The guitar comes with a hardshell case.

Many classic Strat tones live in these late 70's guitars. Plenty of spanky brightness with a pleasing warmer tone from the neck pickup.

A great looking guitar with tone to match. Your foothold on the ladder or the perfect live foil.
