Formerly owned by Mark Refoy since 1981, this guitar was used extensively with bands such as Spacemen 3, Spiritualized, Slipstream and with the Pet Shop Boys. It went through a period as an active guitar in the mid-80s and was painted black until around 25 years ago where it was finished in the white you see now.

For any Spiritualised fans out there this guitar was used extensively on Laser Guided Melodys and Pure Phase LP's plus numerous singles from that period.

This guitar certainly looks the part. The refinish is great and is in good shape.  The neck is in well played condition, but not too heavily worn. The neck was refretted when it was refinished most recently and these frets have plenty of life left in them.

Hardware, F stamp tuners, and plastics are in good condition.

Electrically everything has been changed and the guitar is currently fitted with Bare Knuckle Brown Sugar pickups.

The guitar comes with a non original hardshell case.

The neck pickup has that chewy quality that holds its own so well when combined with the bridge pickup. Once in that bridge position, there is a depth to the sound which is so uniquely Telecaster and flies in the face of your expectations of this guitar.

Sometimes what you want is a well loved and traveled guitar. Look no further..
