A stunning 1972 Marshall 1917 PA 20 for those moments when only a Marshall will do!

Introduced in 1969 as a vocal PA, these 20 watt amps have become popular amongst guitarists as they give you access to those hallowed tones without needing to keep the amp in another postcode.

This amp definitely wins points for cuteness!  Black tolex is in excellent condition, free of any wear or tears. In fact all the externals are in good shape. This amp has certainly been well cared for. 

As you can see from the internal photos the turret board is in good condition showing no signs of aging. Some reversible modifications have been made. The output jacks have been wired for either 8 or 16 ohm operation and the tone circuit on both channels have been modified to follow the Lead and Bass model. These can be easily reversed.

There is also an IEC inlet added on the back for ease of use.

This amp sounds killer. Regardless of its diminutive size, it still packs a punch which explains why these are considered a  studio secret weapon. If you've been searching for the Marshall tone at a reasonable volume without having to cart heavy heads around, then this is for you. As with any multi-input amp, you can jump across both channels for some added gain. The controls, though limited, provide the right amount of adjustment.

This is a very fine amp which would make a fine addition to any stage or music room. What it lacks in size, it surely makes up for in monster tone.
