This guitar certainly looks the part. Refinished in RAF blue, it seems it was applied directly over the original finish which you can see through the worn patches in the body. It's in very good condition with only a few minor knocks.

The neck is in good shape. There are a few marks and scratches again but nothing serious. Thankfully not refinished. The fretboard is in great condition and there's plenty of life left in the frets.

Hardware is in good condition, showing some sign of corrosion. Plastics are in good condition too.

Electrically everything is correct with no sign of too many solder joints being disturbed. Pots are dated week 36 of 1966.

The guitar comes with a softshell case.

This guitar delivers that classic tele tone without taking your head off. The neck pickup has that chewy quality that holds its own so well when combined with the bridge pickup. Once in that bridge position, there is a depth to the sound which is so uniquely Telecaster and flies in the face of your expectations of this guitar.

Looking for some vintage tones at a reasonable price? This might be what you're looking for. Grab it before it's gone…
