This lightweight (3.3Kg), 4 bolt, classic single string tree Hendrix spec guitar is in stunning condition with hardly any wear. The sunburst hasn't faded at all with all three shades being very strong.

The neck is still glossy and feels very comfortable. There is plenty of  life left in the original frets. There are some slight imperfections to the lacquer round the base of the headstock, probably from being in a stand. Neck date reads April 1971.

Under the hood we find classic grey bottom pickups, all dated 1971 in brilliant shape with no rewinds at all. All solder is undisturbed as you can see from images. Pot dates read week 14 of 1970

The guitar comes with the correct hardshell case.

Looking for Hendrix tones? If you’ve read this far then surely that’s the case! This guitar does not disappoint. Plenty of that late 60’s/early 70’s spanky tone which is so unique to guitars from this era. Neck pickup has that chewy quality, the middle and bridge ramping up the treble content.

It has been some time since we have come across one this clean. For those of you who want that tone, this guitar certainly delivers, Spanish castle magic and all…
