1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom + OHSC

Description

Here we have a stunning all original 1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom, complete with its original hardshell case. This guitar is a true collector's item, offering an exceptional playing experience with vintage character and a rich history.

The Les Paul Custom is renowned for its luxurious appointments and exceptional craftsmanship, and this 1969 model is no exception. It features a solid mahogany body with a maple cap and stunning black finish, complemented by gold hardware and two unmolested Pat Number pickups that offer a wide range of tonal options.

This particular Les Paul Custom is part of the middle series with transitional tenon and a three-piece neck, making it a very cool find especially in this condition. The transitional tenon was introduced during 1969 and served as a design change between the earlier long tenon and later short tenon. There is no mini volute and no 'Made in USA' of course.

The guitar's overall condition is superb, almost near mint, with only minor wear and tear and some checking. The gold hardware shows some slight tarnishing, adding to the guitar's vintage charm. All of the guitar's original components are intact and in excellent working order, including the bridge, tuners, and lightweight tailpiece.

The original late '69 hardshell case is also included, providing protection and maintaining the guitar's original integrity. The case shows some wear and tear but is still in excellent condition, with all latches and hinges working perfectly.

This 1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom is a must-have for any serious collector or guitarist looking for an exceptional playing experience with a rich history. It is a superb example in superb condition and unlike most we come across, totally unmolested, including the original frets.
