1967 Rickenbacker Rose Morris 1997 + HSC

From the Bierkellers of Hamburg to pop music behemoths, four Liverpudlians became style icons, determining trends and putting the Rickenbacker name on the lips and in the hands of players as they set the world ablaze with their new sound. Rose Morris saw the coming trend and signed a deal in December of 1963 to become the main distributor in the UK. Their guitars became iconic for the f hole design and for its association with Pete Townshend and a plethora of other guitarists during the subsequent years. Rickenbacker defines the 60’s.
The guitar is in very good condition. The body has a few scratches but nothing that detracts from the overall look of the guitar. There is no sign of touchup and the finish is very vibrant. The back has a decent patch of buckle rash.
The neck too is in great condition, the lacquer on the fretboard does show much sign of wear and the frets have plenty of life left in them.
Plastics are in great condition as is the hardware which is free of any corrosion.
Electrically everything looks to be correct with no sign of solder being disturbed. Pots read week 48 of 1966
The guitar comes with a hardshell case
If it's a Ricky it's got to be jangly and that's certainly the case here. Both pickups offer a wide palette of tones, all articulate and great for those Roger McGuinn-esque picked passages or something a little more raucous.
Sometimes only a Rickenbacker will do. Grab this one before it gets away.
