We don’t see many of these so it's always a treat. The finish has only yellowed slightly and is quite heavily checked (see pics). There are a few chips and dinks, but nothing that detracts from the look of the guitar. There has been a repair to the body around the control cavity. This is solid.

The neck too is in great shape too. The fretboard is free of wear and the frets have plenty of life left in them. The headstock seems to have borne the brunt of time with a few chips. The tuners are the correct type that you only see in 1967/8 so these may have been changed.

The plastics are in good shape. The pickguard is in good condition and has the usual broken tip which has been very well repaired using a spare WD pickguard (included). The knobs are correct.

The hardware is correct and in good condition with only slight wear visible.

Electronically everything is correct. All solder joints are untouched.

The guitar comes with a hard case.

Sonically this guitar is so much more than a 'student' guitar.. A great rock n roll machine, this guitar just screams. The neck is so comfortable and a joy to play.

We love SGs here at ATB Guitars and to see one in this condition in a Custom colour is fantastic. Grab it before it get away…
