Killer 1965 Gibson SG Junior with an interesting story.

Bought by Cerys Mathews with an advance from Catatonia’s first record deal and signed by the great Toni Iommi when he was interviewed by her for her 6 music show on the BBC, this guitar comes with full provence included in the case.

The finish has faded and there are the expected dings and bumps all over. No signs of any breaks or repairs. The signature on the front is by Toni Iommi. The holes made by the vibrola are still visible.

The headstock shows signs of having different tuners fitted and the current set are reproductions. There are no signs of breaks or repairs either on the headstock join or on the neck/body join. The frets are in excellent shape and the guitar plays really well with a good action.

    Plastics are in excellent shape.

Electrically everything looks correct and undisturbed and it is nice to find one like this completely un-molested.

Single, original P-90 is powerful, giving the guitar a wonderfully articulate voice.

The guitar comes with a hardshell case

Have a look at the pictures, I think you will agree it is a lovely example of a very cool guitar with a cool history...
