This is probably the coolest Gibson SG Junior for sale on the planet right now...

Devastating Cardinal Red Gibson SG Junior from 1965 but with all 1964 spec including wide 43mm nut and nice biggish '64 neck.

Very nice finish with a smattering of dings but no sign of fading and nothing to really detract from this killer guitar. This red is more commonly seen on the big ticket guitars such as the firebirds with only a few juniors being finished in custom colours.

It has the classic short Vibrola fitted, the nickel hardware having survived remarkably well.

The headstock shows no signs of having any other tuners fitted. There are no signs of breaks or repairs either on the headstock join or on the neck/body join.

What is also nice about this one is it has the 43mm nut width married to a nice feeling neck with a pleasing fullness. The frets are in excellent shape and the guitar plays really well with a good action.

    Plastics are in excellent shape.

Electrically everything looks correct and undisturbed and it is nice to find one like this completely un-molested.

Single, original P-90 is powerful, giving the guitar a wonderfully articulate voice.

The guitar comes with a hardshell case

Have a look at the pictures, I think you will agree it is a lovely example of a very cool and rare guitar... Find another!
