1964 Fender Stratocaster Pearl White Refin

Behold, a bargain 1964 Fender Stratocaster, refinished in pearlescent White…
This guitar has been refinished in a sort of pearlescent White. We're not sure what the original colour would have been, but the white looks cool and it has aged nicely. There doesn’t seem to be any evidence of additional routing.
The neck has been oversprayed. The fretboard is in good shape as are the non original frets. An extra string tree has been added.
The hardware is mostly correct, although the bridge plate has been replaced and as you can see in the pictures, has corroded somewhat.
The plastics are correct aside from the pickguard, and as you'd expect show signs of wear.
Electronically we have a mix of things going on… The bridge and middle pickups are the correct black bottom type, but the neck pickup is a non original reproduction. The pots have all been changed for newer CTS pots, but the original 3 way selector switch is still present.
The guitar comes with hardshell case (non original).
This guitar does what you'd expect an early 60's Strat to do. The pickups provide a warm tone across all three positions that run the gamut from full to cutting without getting thin.
This is a great guitar that features a cool and unique refin, and all the important features to make it not only a great instrument but a worthy investment for the tone-hound looking for that elusive sound...
