This is as clean as they come! A beautiful, investment grade, spaghetti logo Jazzmaster complete with original case and tags. 

It's hard to imagine a nicer one. This guitar has been well and truly cherished over it's 61 years, even the case is in great shape! It also retains the original hang tag, bridge cover and tremolo arm.

The finish is vibrant with minimal lacquer checking. The headstock shows barely any signs of dings or knocks, the decal remaining in pristine condition. The Nickel, single line Kluson tuners are in great shape, functioning well, and the guitar retains its original nut and frets. Clay dot markers punctuate the Rosewood fingerboard which is rich in colour with a really nice grain. In keeping with the overall condition of the instrument there is little sign of play wear to the back of the neck.

Neck is stamped DEC 63. The tortoiseshell celluloid guard has shrunk and is gripping tightly to the pickup covers as is often the case. Given the overall condition of this instrument along with testaments of the previous owner we've elected not to remove the guard as shrinkage can occur making it hard to reinstate without slight modification. All hardware is present and correct, the electrics function as they should and in terms of sound this one lives up to expectations. 

Jazzmasters are versatile instruments that have found favour with a variety of genres over the years from surf, blues and jazz music in the earlier years through to new wave, indie, and grunge music in more recent decades. The two circuits give you flexibility with rhythm and lead playing, the trem functions really well and for many people the full 25.5" scale length gives it a more natural feel over it's Jaguar stablemate.

If you have an offset gap in your collection then look no further. Investment grade examples like this don't come along too often these days!
