Looks and tone, its time for an early 1963 Gibson ES-355 TDSVC in your life…

This guitar is in good condition. There are some signs of wear, the finish has picked up some blemishing and there are a few minor dinks. The colour overall has faded a little but still retains that rich cherry hue.

The neck is in good shape with some signs of wear. The frets and fretboard are in good condition, frets have some good of life left in them.

Hardware is in good condition and working perfectly. This being an early '63 means that it has the sideways trem and the Grover tuners. The pickup covers have tarnished a little but the pickguard is in excellent condition and has not disintegrated.

Electrically all is correct with 2x early PAT Number pickups which sound great! An extra ground wire has been added to the bridge pickup. All pots and wiring are original so far as we can see.

The guitar comes with its correct hardshell case.

This is a well balanced instrument with a confident, rootsy acoustic tone. The neck is comfortable and familiar with easy access to the upper frets. The Patent number pickups add that classic punch, bite and warmth, arguably the last of Gibson’s classic humbucking pickups .

A killer looking and sounding guitar. Every day should be 355 day…
