Behold, a stunning 1963 Fender Stratocaster, refinished in Olympic White
This guitar has been beautifully refinished in Olympic White. We're not sure what the original colour would have been, but this white suits it very well and it has been very tastefully aged. There doesn’t seem to be any evidence of additional routing.
The neck finish is original. The fretboard is in good shape and has been refretted. There is evidence the neck was attached to a different body at some stage as you can see from the additional holes.
The hardware is all correct and shows signs of corrosion but all of it works really well.
The plastics are correct and as you'd expect show signs of wear. The pickguard has shrunk a little, and has yellowed a bit over time, no doubt from a few years of smokey bars. This, contrasts well on the Olympic White body we think.
Electronically all is all correct aside from the two tone pots.
The guitar comes with hardshell case (non original).
This guitar does what you'd expect an early 60's Strat to do. The pickups provide a warm tone across all three positions that run the gamut from full to cutting without getting thin.
This is a great guitar thats been sympathetically refinished to a very high standard that retained all the important features to make it not only a great instrument but a worthy investment for the tone-hound looking for that illusive sound...
