We think you’d agree that this guitar is quite something and if you are looking for a classic single cut Junior that just sounds and plays great, look no further....

The colour of the sunburst is still vibrant. There is some wear and flaking to the finish as you’d expect. There is a repaired headstock crack (apparently repaired by Brinsley Schwarz). There is no other sign of touch up or repair and this being a late '56 has no issues with leaning studs. 

The neck has worn too but in quite a cool way (see pics). The fretboard is in good shape and the original frets have good in them. The bridge has been replaced with a later wrap tail.

The plastics, as you’d imagine, are in good shape. The knobs are later examples from the mid 60's. The pickup cover has been replaced.

Electrically everything is correct with undisturbed solder joints. The pickup itself and the wiring harness are untouched.

There is a certain gravitas to the tone of this instrument when comparing it to other juniors of similar vintage. Its a nice weight and the position of the pickup in relation to the bridge also helps. The controls are very responsive offering a wide palette of sonic options. Simply put, this is a great sounding junior.

Everyone should try a Junior and this one should not be passed over. Looks and tone is always a winning combination at ATB Guitars, so grab this one whilst you can.
