    Well this is something we do not see at all..!

    This is quite a pretty little and nice playing Day Hunter Mohawk Archtop Guitar from around 1955. It also appears to be all original with its original softish case.

    Whilst no doubt aimed at the budget end of this type of guitar, it looks real good, it plays well and has a strong, unique sound. It is a ply construction with some particular nice flame on the maple ply top and back. It has a decent action and is very playable all across the fretboard.

    This was probably made by Abbott Victor and actually features in the 1953 Frances Day Hunter catalogue, a copy of which is online if you do a search.

    All appears to be original and in exceptional, almost collector grade condition too.

    A bit of a bargain maybe...?
