Specifications for each section of the pedal -

Dynassor (Compression)

Whether you are after the squashing power of a dinosaur, capable of that vintage thumpy attack and endless sustain, or you just want to musically tame your dynamic range, the NOS CA3080 chip equipped Dyna- ssoR will effortlessly nail it for you.

We are committed to creating well tuned circuits that allow our designs to feature the minimum number of straight-forward and responsive controls and sound great no matter how you dial them in. The Dyna-ssoR is a great testament to exactly this effort! It makes everything sound like “more”!

Tubedreamer (Overdrive)

Back when we originally introduced the Tubedreamer58 there weren’t as many 808 style pedals out there. We claimed then as we claim now; this is probably the best 808 style overdrive you can get your hands on!

With a carefully tuned, added midrange frequency register, the Tubedreamer delivers warm and rich overdriven sound through any amp.

A pivotal difference between the Tubedreamer and other Tubescreamers, is our choice to go with 3 diodes for asymmetrical clipping instead of symmetrical, enhancing the responsiveness of the pedal to fretting and picking nuances.

Made with carbon comp resistors, the Tubedreamer employs the legendary JRC4558D chip to deliver its classic sound, just like in the original, sought-after 808’s, and also introduces a wider gain range accessible by the high-gain-stage toggle-switch.

Rattler (Distortion)

AM pedals’ unabashed distortion monster.

We pulled out all the stops to make sure the Rattler will get you all the amazing tones of great early 80s ProCo RAT® distortion boxes and put in the time and R&D to make it more responsive to picking and fretting nuances resulting in an open, dynamic, overdriven tube-amp feel!

Its asymmetrical clipping circuit, carbon comp resistors and of course the legendary NOS LM308N chip, the featured star of this design, are the main ingredients of a great recipe resulting in the Rattler shining through any rig, whether modern or vintage.

Enjoy fat and creamy distortion courtesy of the devious snake!

Fuzz Phrase

As our stock of Fuzz Phrase-compatible CV7003s is gradually depleting, we are proud to re-introduce it, celebrating its uniqueness and scarcity with point-to-point wiring housed in a luxurious leather enclosure.

The most crucial ingredient when it comes to a Germanium Fuzz pedal’s quality, sound and “clean-ability”, is transistor choice. In our experience there’s nothing quite like the CV7003, military-spec OC44 germanium transistors.

The few-and-far-between CV7003, are extremely consistent and heat-resistant, much more so than the AC128 and NKT275 transistors, placing the Fuzz Phrase in a league of its own. The CV7003’s consistency is so dependable that an external bias pot is rendered unnecessary. You are likely to never have to adjust the bias on your pedal!

Each individual transistor is measured for gain and leakage and then hand picked and matched through sound audition.

Along with the use of carbon comp resistors and tropical fish capacitors, the result is pure vintage fuzz goodness! Just mess around with the guitar volume to find the sweet spots, from clean, to rude, to devastating!

Rooster (Treble Booster)

Vintage-style Treble Booster - one of the secret ingredients that helped shape legendary sounds heard by Eric Clapton in John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers, Rory Gallagher, Brian May and Tony Iommi. Built from the greatest parts available, carbon comp resistors and tropical fish capacitors, for pure vintage sound!

Playing with the guitar volume, can unlock many textures, ranging from clean crunchy tones, to fat boosted overdrive! Also featuring a 3-way toggle-switch for treble, mid or bass boost focus.

Chill (Sine Wave Tremolo)

Plug your guitar into this no-frills analog sine-wave tremolo, dial in your settings and enjoy lush tremolo sounds like those found in vintage Fender® Amps!

The Chill is built with carbon comp resistors and as such it can also produce a warm and harmonically rich boost of your sound by setting the Depth control to 0, and adjusting the Level to your preference.

Be it Spaghetti-Western and Surf sounds or slow and mellow amplitude modulation, the sky is the limit!

Retrovibe (Chorus/Vibrato)

Comprised of 4 photocells, a bulb, original NOS 2SC828 transistors and carbon comp resistors, the RetroVibe mk.2 delivers the majestic sounds of the best Uni-Vibe pedals from back in the day, but housed in a modern pedalboard-friendly enclosure and featuring standard 9V DC operation, internally lifted to 15V DC.

Choose between the Vibrato and Chorus settings and navigate from slow-rate wavy sounds all the way to fast Leslie-speaker effects!

Use it in conjunction with our EXP4 Expression pedal for real-time Speed control!

An added twist! We have incorporated an internal trimmer that affects the maximum intensity of the effect, but also dramatically manipulates the sound of the RetroVibe mk.2, all the while, maintaining the pedal’s true vintage character.

Roses are red violets are blue the RetroVibe’s purple and you’ll looove it too!

Waterfall (Chorus/Vibrato)

A JAM pedals favorite for a lot of guitar, bass and keyboard players, the WaterFall is serving as a mainstay on boards of such greats as John Scofield, Nels Cline, Steve Lukather, Anthony Jackson and John Mesdeski for many years now, and has established itself as one of the best analog chorus/vibrato pedals in the market.

It features the MN3207 BBD chips, 2 toggle-switches, the first to select between chorus and vibrato modes, and the other to switch to a “wetter” effect resulting in a deeper, more contemporary sounding chorus, or a more intense, deranged vibrato sound! Max out the Depth and Speed controls to get Leslie-speaker type effects!

The WaterFall is an extremely versatile, rich, 3D sounding, tone-machine that has converted even the most rigid of chorus-haters!

Ripple (Phaser)

The Ripple is an homage to 2-stage phasing. It offers a truly unique, deep “vibey” tone, that we are extremely proud of! Breathe new life into your funky percussive grooves, enhance arpeggiating parts with deep “vibey” modulation, or max it out to animate quirky passages.

The Ripple performs equally well before and after overdrive pedals. One may not encounter 2-stage phasing circuits so often these days, but we believe in its sincerity and straight-forwardness so much we are proud to include it as the JAM pedals offering in the genre.
