2016 Bourgeois OM Large Soundhole + OHSC

A modern take on a classic, providing vintage tone with modern versatility and at a not so vintage price point…

Apparently this is a used guitar! You’d never know it by looking at it as it appears to have lived most its life in its case, which seems a shame as its one of the nicest sounding acoustics we’ve had in a long time.

Bourgeois Guitars are based in Maine in the USA, and produce a very limited number of acoustic guitars each year, with a focus on beautiful craftsmanship and killer sound. The OM Large Soundhole, does pretty much what it says on the tin… Its a classic Orchestra Model shape guitar with a slightly enlarged sound hole, favoured by flat pickers for its improved projection and depth.

This is a truly great sounding guitar, with a big full range sound and way more volume than you’d think possible for a guitar of it’s size. The fit and finish is really very impressive, and the playing experience is fantastic thanks to a relatively shallow and uber comfortable neck profile. This one has a LR Baggs Anthem pickup system fitted, making it a very exciting proposition for performance… Check out the specs for this example below:
