Orange label 1970 ES-335 TDC in cherry with factory Bigsby. You do not see many of these by the 70's...

Looks and tone that are not to be underestimated, its a 1970 Gibson ES-335 TDC
This guitar is in great condition with a rare for 1970 cherry finish - most were coming out in Walnut by then. There are no real signs of wear, the finish has escaped blemishing though there are a few minor dinks. The colour overall has faded a little but still retains that rich cherry hue.
The frets and fretboard are in good condition with some minor signs of wear to the fretboard, frets have plenty of life left in them.
Hardware is in good condition and working perfectly. Bigsby is factory fitted which like the cherry finish, is rare for a 1970. This with the orange label, pretty much makes the end of an era…
This is a well balanced instrument with confident, rootsy acoustic tone. The neck is comfortable and familiar with easy access to the upper frets. The Patent number pickups add that classic punch, bite and warmth, arguably the last of Gibson’s classic humbucking pickups . The Bigsby adds an extra dimension which for most is a must, engage the reverb and go to town.
Included with the guitar is a slightly later original hardshell case.
Maybe not your go-to necessarily when you think of th ES-335 but this one is not to be scoffed at. Garb it before it gets away.
