Original blonde finish is in lovely condition with just a modicum of fade and a few small dings here and there. Neck is still nice and light in shade and all together it belies it’s 48 years of age.
Original everything, aside from the aforementioned pots which were probably changed for the new millennium in 1999 and replaced with correct CTS types.
Two very nice original pickups adorn this fine twang machine which can bite, snarl or sing as your mood, or want, takes you. Neck has a good, low action and there is very little fret or fingerboard wear.
If you look closely at the strap button at the end of the body, you will see someone made a hole for an extra one that has been filled. Not sure why as the original strap button seems fine, but it is there.
Included is a Fender Telecaster case from a later period (not vintage) that fits and protects it well.
