This one is missing from the collection.....
1966 Fender Precision Bass in Olympic white, always a welcome sight here at ATB Guitars….
This Fender Precision Bass is a delight to play and has survived the years with very few battle scars and very little wear. There are a few dings and dongs in places and the finish has the inevitable custard fade to it but overall it is an excellent example that has all original solder, hardware and electrics.
The superbly dark fingerboard shows no signs of wear as do the original frets.
The back of the neck has worn wonderfully smooth with typical play wear
Hardware is in good condition with minimal corrosion on the saddles. The covers are later ones but the rest of the hardware is correct. Someone etched their social security number just below the bridge, well hidden and there may be one extra screw hole under the pickguard but this has been there for some time.
Electrically a few of the solder joint have been disturbed but pots read 1966 and the pickups are correct.
The case is a a later example of an export case and is in good condition, just like the bass itself and all latches close and work great.
Great sounding bass with that rock solid sound we all look for in these instruments.
There is nothing not to like with this bass, custom colour, minimal wear, killer tone. Grab it before it gets away.
