Another jaw dropping, eye popping rare, and near MINT Custom Colour bass. This time a super rare Fender Jazz Bass in “Charcoal Frost” with matching headstock.

The condition of this bass is astounding. Charcoal Frost is another super rare custom colour and this is the only example we have seen to date.

As with other custom colours that have been nitro clear coated, the clear coat yellows slightly but under the pickguard and in the cavities, you can see the origins of its true colour.

100% Correct, including all solder, hardware, finish etc. There are no touch ups and no over spray. There are signs of wear but these are just a few small dings here and there, some marks on the side and some play wear on the lower edge of the neck by the frets.

Theres very little fret and fingerboard wear and zero wear on the brightly shining chrome hardware. It really does pop out at you as soon as you open the case…

Matching headstock is in amazing shape too and is a nice touch to have with these rare Custom Colour Jazz Basses. Playing wise, it is as good as new with no dead spots, an excellent action and no truss rod issues either.

This being a transitional 1965 model, has the unbound fingerboard with dots and those mouth watering lollipop
