A nice ES-350 in great condition. A few modifications but all to enhance the playability...

This is a superb 1952 Gibson ES-350 sporting a pair of original and powerful P-90s, correct wiring loom and a stunning sunburst finish over the subtly flames maple top. The pickguard has been lost to time and a 60’s Bigsby has been added at some stage.
As you can see from the pictures, this guitar has lead quite charmed life with some nice checking but little if any real chips, dinks or dents anywhere. The finish has faded a little but no too much. There is an additional strap button holes on the heel as as well as the additional strap button which would have been a later addition.
The fretboard has been sanded and refretted sympathetically which does mean that the the side dots are visible through the binding. The lacquer on the neck shows some signs of use but nothing too extensive.
As previously mentioned, a Bigsby has been added at some stage but all other hardware and plastics are correct.
The guitar comes with a fantastic Lifton hardshell case.
Chuck Berry in a box, this guitar just oozes those rock ‘n roll tones with a bark that is so typical of these P90 loaded archtop guitars. The new frets keep things in check. This guitar is a whole lot of fun to play.
Gret for anything from Jazz to roots rock, the guitar is the touchstone for those tones. Don’t struggle trying to emulate it, get the real thing.
