It measures 43.7mm at the nut, with a depth of 20.8mm at the 1st fret and 25.4mm at the 12th, giving it that familiar pre-CBS Precision feel with enough depth to feel reassuring without being cumbersome. At 3.86kg it's a comfortable weight, and  overall it has an excellent resonance to it.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIt's had some electrical work, with changed pots and wiring. The pickup has period-correct plain enamel #42 wire, but the solder eyelet has been disturbed on the bass side and some wiring replaced, suggesting a repair or possible rewind.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eTonally, it has the depth, punch and attack you want from an old Precision Bass. There is plenty of fundamental low end, a strong midrange and that direct, slightly woody attack that makes these basses sit so well in a track.
