At its core, the MF-104M offers up to 800ms of pure analog delay, making it perfect for everything from short slapback echoes to long, ambient repeats. The Time control adjusts the delay length, while the Feedback knob determines the number of repeats, capable of self-oscillation for experimental textures. The Mix*control blends the wet and dry signals, allowing for subtle depth or full, washed-out delay effects.

One of the standout features of the MF-104M is its LFO modulation section, which can be used to introduce subtle tape-like warble or extreme pitch-shifting effects. The LFO Rate and Depth controls adjust the speed and intensity of modulation, making it possible to achieve chorus-like shimmer, vibrato, or detuned textures.

The MF-104M is also designed for extensive external control and connectivity. It features CV (control voltage) and expression pedal inputs for real-time manipulation of delay time, feedback, mix, and modulation parameters. A tap tempo switch with an adjustable tap division function ensures precise timing synchronisation, making it easy to integrate into live and studio setups. The pedal also includes a dedicated drive circuit, allowing users to push the delay signal into subtle saturation or warm overdrive.
