Late 60's Marshall Supa-Wah
Built for Marshall by Sola Sound alongside the Supa Fuzz, these were manufactured between 1967 and 1974. Initially produced with low gain germanium transistors, the circuit was similar to the Colorsound Supa Wah.
The unit is in good condition cosmetically. There are a few dinks to the paint but nothing too substantial. The label is in good condition and the rubber on the treadle is in good shape.
Inside there seem to be any changes, the ‘Clover’ inductor is still present. Unlike earlier examples, this has Silicon transistors which were adopted in the late 60s.
Though it might not have the sweep of o Crybaby or Colorsound, this pedal has bags of tone and is a great alternative
Classic pedal, what more can we say? Grab it before it gets away…
