Ivison Guitars The Fillmore Burgundy Mist (ex-display)

Description

The last one! Neil will not be building any more of these amazing guitars so get this one while you still can..

No one seems to totally encompass the essence of Rock ‘n Roll quite like Stephen Peter Marriott. The look, voice and presence strutting across the stage of the Fillmore, low slung, pumpin’ out the hot ‘n’ nasty boogie. The FILLMORE is Ivison Guitars’ tribute to the great man and an underrated classic, the Epiphone Coronet. Clean lines and no messing, it truly captures the feel of the real thing. African Mahogany construction with meticulous attention to detail, measurements taken from an original 1963 Coronet, this is yet another testament to Neil’s craftsmanship and drive to produce exceptional instruments. The combination of Faber hardware and Sunbear pickups gives this guitar an authority and punchy tone that will get them shaking in the aisles and boogieing all night long. Offered in a range of custom colours, this guitar will not fail to turn heads.

A word from the manufacturer……

The Fillmore is built and named in tribute to my hero Steve Marriott.

The Fillmore is a lightweight, no nonsense, plug in and play guitar. Slightly brighter than the standard DC models due to the thinner body, the all Mahogany construction coupled with an EL34 powered amp can only give THE classic ‘Rockin’ the Fillmore’ tone!  The current spec is  1 piece African Mahogany Body 1 piece Honduran Mahogany Neck Indian Rosewood Fingerboard 17 degree headstock angle Single action truss rod Maple filler strip ‘63 Neck Profile Celluloid Dot Inlays Sunbear Dogear P90 - Handwound in the UK Faber Aluminium Compensated Bridge Faber Studs and Anchors Aged Faber Tuners CTS True Vintage Taper 500k pots Orange Drop Capacitor Switchcraft Jack Aged Knobs & Pointers Lightly aged 100% Nitrocellulose finish
