The lean, mean, overdrivey machine that started it all, the TS808 Tube Screamer from Ibanez. This modern reissue is really nice and, considering we just sold an original 80s example for near enough 1k, quite good value! It sound great, and has that classic early Tube Screamer sound absolutely nailed down. There's a million clones out there, but we're inclined to say that the original is still the best...
