We have been very excited to bring Dan Drive pedals over to the UK as their cult following has grown and grown. Seen at the feet of players such as Joey Landreth, Ariel Posen and Doyle Bramhall III the Secret Weapon is born from a conversation with JD Simo regarding the fuzz tones of Curtis Mayfield and the results can be heard here, wrapped in cloth, spitting feathers. As with all good fuzz pedals, the Secret Weapon reacts to subtle control changes yielding a whole array of huge crunchy germanium fuzz tones, the addition of the bias control and a mids switch lets you tailor the effects to taste.

A word from the manufacturer….

The Secret Weapon was born when JD Simo asked for a huge fuzz, sounds like those old Curtis Mayfield tones. The result is a zonk style fuzz,which sounds huge with a third knob for bias and the switch for mids.
