Paying homage to an iconic period in the development of Fender, this Custom Shop 57 Strat Journeyman Relic brings all the class and vibe of a vintage '57 Strat with some more modern accoutrements for that familiar feel.

This is a wonderfully resonant guitar. The maple neck is a joy to play, the 9.5” radius a nod to modern playing requirements. The hand wound Ancho Poblano pickups absolutely nail those irresistible vintage Strat tones, although in this guitar the bridge pickup has been swapped out for a Seymour Duncan SSL-5 (original included in case).

This amazing guitar has had the one owner from new and that owner has kept it mainly in the case. It is just about MINT condition (for a relic) and is probably the finest example out there.

All papers and documents are included just as if you bought this from new.

Journeyman means lightly aged, and the subtly reliced nitro finish of the body looks the part without being too showy, accentuating the grain of the ash.
