Held in high regard, Sid Poole was known for his high quality custom electric guitars and repair work. He built guitars for Geoff Whitehorn, Bernie Marsden, Mickie Moody, and Andy Fairweather-Low (amongst many others). His repair and customising work also brought high-profile customers like Pete Townshend.

This is the perfect example of his attention to detail, utilising a stunning piece of flamed maple married to an exquisite piece of mahogany. The finish is stunning and the guitar is in almost mint condition.

Frets and fretboard look to have hardly been used and the abalone inlay is a nice touch.

Pickups are Tom Holmes humbuckers, held in great esteem in of themselves. Sid has wired the guitar to include a push-push tone pot for coil tap and phase reversal.

The guitar comes with a Hiscox liteflite hardshell case.

This guitar is testament to a legendary UK builder who is sadly passed away just over 20 years ago and is rare to see on the marketplace.
