    1996 Fender Duo Sonic anyone?

Reintroduced in 1993 and only made until 1997, the Duo sonic is the archetypal student instrument. Lightweight construction and simple layout makes it the perfect gateway to the electric guitar.

This guitar is in fine condition, a few minor bumps to the finish but nothing too extensive.

The neck is in good shape too. The lacquer has chipped and worn on the treble side of the first four frets but aside from this there is very little signs of wear with plenty of life left in  the original frets.

Hardware is in good shape. Any discolouration is purely cosmetic.

The pickguard has warped a little with the worst patch being on the treble side of the  bridge pickup which looks to have melted though we cannot be certain.

Electrically everything looks correct. Pots are dated at week 21 of 1996.

The guitar comes with a hardshell case.

The short scale (22.7”) and lightweight construction make this the ideal beginner guitar or perfect for grabbing when you’ve got 5 minutes. The pickups are articulate and yield a wide variety of tones, ideal for a wide variety of sonic explorations.

Looking for a bargain this Christmas? Look no further. This diminutive package packs quite a punch and it’ll even fit in the stocking…
