From the Bernie Marsden Collection, this was another recent serendipitous purchase, bought without touching the guitar in 2018. The guitar features on page 351 of Bernie's book 'Tales of Tone and Volume', a copy of which will be included with this sale.

This is the perfect example of his attention to detail, utilizing a stunning piece of flamed maple married to an exquisite piece of mahogany. The finish is stunning and the guitar is in great condition.

Frets and fretboard look to have hardly been used and the abalone inlay is a nice touch. the tuners have been changed to Schaller at some stage. There are a few  lacquer chips too.

Pickups are Tom Holmes humbuckers, held in high esteem in of themselves. Sid has wired the guitar to include a push-push tone pot for coil tap and phase reversal.

The guitar comes with a Hiscox liteflite hardshell case.

This guitar is testament to a legendary UK builder who is sadly passed away just over 20 years ago and is rare to see on the marketplace.
