1989 Gibson Flying V + OHSC

Are you ready to ROCK?! Youll need one of these then…1989 Gibson Flying V ‘67 reissue in Cherry.
Returning the V to its roots in 1990, Gibson chose to use the 1967 iteration as its model with its all mahogany construction and triangular control layout, moving away from the experimentation of the 80s. Having said this, the serial number and pots date this to 1989 making this quite an early example of this reissue.
Condition wise, this guitar is in great shape. The cherry finish shows no signs of wear and there are only minor scratches. There are two additional screw holes under the pickguard.
The neck is in great shape, the finish is still glossy, the fretboard is unmarked and there is plenty of life left in the original frets. Nut has been replaced but the original is included.
Hardware shows no signs of wear which suggests very little use.
Plastics are in great shape as you’d expect.
Electrically all of the solder joints look to have been undisturbed and both Patent Number pickups are present..
The guitar comes with its correct brown hardshell V shaped case with pink lining, the handle is fully intact which is a rare thing and the case is in great condition.
Once you’ve figured out comfortable way to hold the guitar (possible suggestion would be to skip the sitting down and stick it on a strap, one foot up on the monitor) we’re in familiar Gibson territory, especially to those of you who’ve wrangled an SG, albeit with a bit more wood to contend with. Easy access to the whole neck, the Patent Number humbuckers deliver a solid rock tone with the Korina yielding a slightly lighter timbre than its mahogany cousin.
If its good enough for James Hetfield then it should for you. You will be noticed with this around your neck. Grab it before it gets away.
