Last of the truly great Hendrix era Strats. This is a 1971 4 neck bolt Fender Stratocaster, one piece maple neck, great worn sunburst finish, how many more boxes need ticking?

This is all original aside from a refret and is in great shape with some great wear to the finish. The sunburst finish has faded nicely, as is evident whe you take the pickguard off. The neck too is still glossy and feels very comfortable. The neck has been refretted and they have plenty of life left in them, the maple board is terrific and free of any wear.

Under the hood we find classic grey bottom pickups, all dated 1971 in brilliant shape with no rewinds at all.

Looking for Hendrix tones? If you’ve read this far then surely that’s the case! This guitar does not disappoint. Plenty of that late 60’s spanky tone which is so unique to guitars from this era. Neck pickup has that chewy quality, the middle and bridge ramping up the treble content.

For those of you who want that tone, this guitar certainly delivers, Spanish castle magic and all…

Complete with the correct hardshell case.
