1967 Fender Vibrochamp + Tags
Introduced in 1964 and remaining unchanged until 1982, the Vibro Champ was developed from the champ, adding an EQ section and vibrato circuit. This is from the last year of the black panel amps.
This is a fantastic example. Very clean with no damage to the tolex. The control panel is in great condition showing only slight signs of bubbling with the silk screened text still clear.
The amp is still fitted with its correct speaker. Internally, nothing seems to have been changed. The correct output transformer is still present as is the original, large bottle GEC rectifier tube!
As you’d hope, this amp sounds fantastic. With the volume set above half we’re straight into classic tweed territory and a sound that has to be heard to be believed. There is no doubt why this is such a lauded amp.
These don’t come up for sale very often in this clean condition and its been a while since we saw one this clean so grab it before it slips away…
