A well worn finish married to this classic red burst paint job really adds to the mojo of this guitar. There are signs of touch up here and there but nothing too substantial.

The neck is in good condition. The paint on the back is worn and there are bumps and knicks on the headstock. The tuners are modern Klusons. The fretboard is in good condition and there's plenty of life left in the frets. a new nut has been fitted.

The pickguard has been changed and the bridge is a reproduction of the original made by Alan Knight. The knobs have been changed.

The Gretsch filtertron pickup has been added by the current owner with a correct surround. The pots are modern too.

The guitar comes with a wooden hardshell case

A great grab and go guitar, the filtertron really suits its garage-y vibe. Its lightweight is a joy, making this guitar a lot of fun.

Something a little different for the collection, grab it before its gone…
