The photos do all the talking with this one! A beautifully worn-in and seriously vibey 1964 Fender Telecaster in it's original Blonde finish, with decades of genuine use, history and wear under its belt. Owned and played by the same musician since 1966, this Tele saw regular use in bands for over half a century, right up until his recent passing. We acquired the guitar directly from the family, and after a couple of tweaks and some replacement parts we are delighted with the results!

The wear throughout is completely natural - the real deal. The blonde finish has aged and worn beautifully, with discolouration and wear throughout. Tele's from this era don't come up too often with their popularity losing out to the Strat during this period. The neck is date stamped Nov '63, so this is a very early pearl dot inlay model with clay dot side markers, closer spaced 12 fret dots and spaghetti logo. The serial number dates to '64 and it retains its original single-line Kluson tuners of the period.

Over the years, a few changes were made as you’d expect from a working instrument of this age. The pots have been replaced, and the bridge was swapped after the original became too rusted to salvage. A different jack plate was installed at some point, but the correct style cup has been reinstated. There are also slight widening by the pots internally to accommodate them. It’s seen a refret or two in the past and the nut is also changed.

The hardware shows plenty of age and patina, matching the body wear beautifully. Sonically, it delivers that unmistakable early-‘60s Tele tone—woody, open and cutting in the best possible way, with plenty of bite and punch. It feels alive in the hands, responsive to touch, and very inspiring to play!

A proper vintage Tele with serious character and vibe. If you're looking for something with authentic mojo, this is it. Cool as hell—and every bit as good as it looks! We don't imagine this will hang around..!
