Probably the nicest original AC-15 we have seen in some while... This example has been owned and maintained by Mick Grabham (Procurl Harem etc) and is probably the finest example of this rare amp for sale out there...

1962/3, rare fawn Tolex with 2 x Celestion G12's early versions. Original ironwork, mostly original components and sounding as good as any AC-15 around.

When Mick got this amp it was missing its back panel so he managed to obtain and original AC-15 replacement from another amp which is in not such nice condition as the rest of the amp but at least it retained the original fawn covering. As you can also see by the pics, the coupling capacitor has also been replaced no doubt due to leakage.

These original AC-15's are really something else and it is no surprise these are some of the most sought after VOX amps around. If you have not heard one you are in for a treat...!

Aside from the back panel, this is probably the best you can get and definitely the best we have seen for a very long time here. It is a wonderful recording amp and unlike the AC-30 does not take your head off when cocked to capacity.
