Such a cool model... and we currently have two in stock! The Supro Dual Tone, as made famous by David Bowie and Ry Cooder, was introduced in 1955 (originally named the Duo Tone) as Supro's first wooden solidbody electric guitar.

These are really vibey instruments that have a sound all of their own. The overwound single coil pickups give a nice attack and the tone overall is raspy and fairly unrefined in a way that works perfectly for blues/slide as it does for indie/rock.

The neck is a handful, but comfortable and supportive. It gives the guitar a solid feel, and overall due to its shorter scale and 14 fret neck join it's a comfortable model to play. The Arctic White "No-Mar" plasticised finish has peeled in places which is common, and one of the tuner buttons has been replaced as you can see in the photos.

The styling is as cool as they come, with it's single cutaway body shape, curved pickguard, art deco inspired tailpiece, 4 in line knobs, block inlays and monochrome appearance.

This is an excellent example of 'affordable' vintage from the golden age of electric guitar production in the US. Comes in a modern gig bag.
